You may have heard of the Michelangelo virus or even the Jerusalem
virus which was to strike on Friday, March 13, 1992.
Many companies which make anti-virus softwares did a bonanza of a
sale by selling on the fear that these time bombs will destroy your
files. Frankly, we've tried those commercial softwares and found them
filled with bugs (virus?) of their own which can in turn destroy files.
Boy, was that a waste of money, though we're still paying for updates.
This program, TIMEBOMB.EXE was delayed in release to you until
after the panic date so that its merits will be seen on its own, rather
than feeding on the panic mentality.
This is not a cure all for all virus softwares or virus hiding
inside a legitimate software (not this version anyway), but it will
prevent most virus attacks now and in the future. After all, we do try
to make a "time resistant product".
